Fairy Li Shan later offers him a movement killer move tied to Kong Sheng Tian, a Gu Immortal who controlled qi escape Gu, named number four in the list of Top Ten Mystical Gu. At that stretch Spring Autumn Cicada is still only ranked seventh, while qi escape Gu sits fourth. Qi escape Gu was reverse refined from reputation Gu, and in straight-line flying speed no Gu matches it. ^{ch. 678}

Care Gu sits in the top ten of the List of Mystical Gu. It was once ranked third. After the battle of Yi Tian Mountain exposes Fang Yuan as a person from the future who used Spring Autumn Cicada to rebirth, Spring Autumn Cicada rises from seventh to third, and Care falls to fourth. The list is constantly changing, though the top ten seldom adjust. Most of the top ten mystical Gu are related to rank nine venerables. ^{ch. 1175}

That same rundown places further entries: qi escape Gu at fifth; combat relocation Gu at sixth, originating from Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable; connect mind Gu at seventh, from Star Constellation Immortal Venerable. The number one mystical Gu was refined by Giant Sun Immortal Venerable. Response Gu is among the top ten of the List of Mystical Gu. It can emit a voice, and anyone who hears that voice and responds becomes enslaved. A rank eight response Gu can enslave rank eight Gu Immortals. ^{ch. 1903}

A later account restates that Spring Autumn Cicada received public recognition and sits as the third mystical Gu, with qi escape Gu fallen from a former fourth place. ^{ch. 2096}

Imitation Gu is eighth on the List of Mystical Gu and originates from Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable. Placed with another Immortal Gu for a time, it can turn itself into that Gu. Immortal Gu are unique, but imitation Gu can bypass that uniqueness to some extent, though the imitated form cannot match the real Gu in power. ^{ch. 2151}
