Blood Sea true inheritance

Blood Sea true inheritances are the rare high-value sites among Blood Sea Ancestor's hundreds of thousands of grounds. Ordinary leftovers hold a few Gu; the true ones are said to hide his best Gu, research, or fusion recipes.

On Qing Mao Mountain, a dense bladewing blood bat colony fills a blood-lake cave around Fang Yuan, and he wonders whether the place is a Blood Sea true inheritance ground.^{ch. 183} Lord Sky Crane and First gen Gu Yue found one while chasing demonic cultivators; Lord Sky Crane obtained it, then First gen Gu Yue stole the Gu and fled.^{ch. 192}

First gen Gu Yue later names that prize one of the true inheritances of Blood Sea Ancestor and identifies Blood Skull Gu as the Gu that can purify relatives’ blood into the aperture to raise aptitude. He also calls it the true blood sea inheritance and says he seized Lord Sky Crane’s blood sea true inheritance to become a demon.^{ch. 195}

Counts and holders

Immortal Crane Sect elders say Blood Sea has nine true inheritances and list blood skull Gu, blood handprint Gu, blood qi Gu, blood sweat Gu, menses blood Gu, blood shadow Gu, blood battle Gu, the ancient desolate beast violent blood dragon bat, and rank six Immortal Gu blood deity. They also place blood skull Gu with Fang Yuan, blood handprint Gu with Southern Border’s Shang clan leader, and violent blood dragon bat with Song Zi Xing.^{ch. 407}

A later Southern Border account states Blood Sea Ancestor left seven true inheritances and names a blood tide pit as one of them, where Shang Yan Fei obtained blood handprint Gu.^{ch. 1339} In Western Desert, a qi tide exposes a Blood Sea true inheritance; Demon Immortal Qi Jue takes it and gains blood qi Immortal Gu after Red Heart Traveler is forced off the site. Qi Jue’s account places nine true inheritances among sites spread over the five regions.^{ch. 2014}
