Immortal Crane Sect Leader

The sect ranks its members from outer disciple through inner disciple, elite disciple, and legacy disciple to sect elder, then sect leader, then supreme elder. A sect elder has at least rank four cultivation. The sect leader would have rank five, and the supreme elders are rank six Gu Immortals, with some at rank seven. ^{ch. 335}

The Immortal Crane Sect leader sits on his grand seat and looks down at Fang Zheng, who kneels below the stairs. He tells Fang Zheng that his rank four cultivation already qualifies him as a sect elder. Because Fang Zheng has been in the sect only a short time, the leader tells him he must complete many sect missions to prove his loyalty. He also hopes Fang Zheng wins the large examination and becomes a legacy disciple. He then gives Fang Zheng and a few elite disciples a sect mission, and a bookworm flies out with the details. ^{ch. 335}

Three days after Fang Zheng first wakes and knocks himself out again, Immortal Crane Sect officially announces his recovery. In the morning class the sect’s leader publicly names him an elder of the sect. The whole sect is in shock. The leader also calls him over now and then to ask after his well-being and whether he faces any problems. The attention and favor leave Fang Zheng overwhelmed. ^{ch. 827} The narration states that even Immortal Crane Sect’s leader has only rank five cultivation, the peak among mortals. ^{ch. 828}
