White Crane Information Tower

Before making a sect mission against a golden mountain ox, Fang Zheng goes to Immortal Crane Sect’s information tower rather than leaving Fei He Mountain casually. The house sits in a secluded mountainside stretch under deep fog and lush greenery. ^{ch. 1818}

No human guards stand before it; two desolate beast cranes rest there and will act if anything happens. As a supreme elder, Fang Zheng enters without question. Each floor holds many information path mortal Gu, and reading them costs sect contribution points. The tower can store information, but Immortal Crane Sect does not keep secrets that way, because destroying the house would ruin what it held. It only manages information path power, like some of Heavenly Court’s Immortal Gu Houses; a complete house with offense and defense would not need the two desolate beast white cranes. Fang Zheng lacks information path foundation and cannot see the tower’s mysteries; he guesses it has arrangements for preserving, transporting, and destroying those Gu worms. True secrets stay with Immortal Crane Sect higher-ups, and Fang Zheng’s status still excludes him from that circle. ^{ch. 1818}
