Heavenly Giant Solor

Heavenly Giant Solor is an ancient battle formation that Lang Ya land spirit and hairy man Gu Immortals assemble into a silver giant.

Lang Ya land spirit shouts for the battle formation to assemble. Countless Gu worms are teleported over and cover the land spirit and the hairy man Gu Immortals. Tens of thousands of Gu worms burst out with bright silver light. Mo Tan Sang then goes inside. Fang Yuan goes in after him. Once they are inside, the silver light around everyone condenses to its limits and turns into silvery metal liquid. After the land spirit shouts the formation’s name three times, the liquid bursts out and creates a courtyard-sized space. Each Gu Immortal is allocated a formation core. Outside, the silver liquid forms a giant that opens its eyes.^{ch. 883}

Lang Ya land spirit, at the central formation core, says this battle formation was the second strongest in the world even during the Olden Antiquity Era, merely second to Golden Heavenly Saint. Strengths are combined as one entity. Soul foundations are added up, immortal essence can be used interchangeably, and they can communicate freely with thoughts. Combined souls blunt Qin Bai Sheng’s soul suppression. Qin Bai Sheng finds it interesting that the formation was in Long Hair Ancestor’s hands. Hei Cheng calls ancient battle formations the pinnacle of formation path, letting Gu Immortals add up their battle strength, and says historical reasons buried such formations in the River of Time. The giant can amplify an immortal killer move to a shocking extent, though immortal essence consumption is huge.^{ch. 883}

Heavenly Giant Solor is similar to an Immortal Gu House in that more Gu Immortals mean more power, but a battle formation has path and cultivation requirements that an Immortal Gu House does not. It works best if everyone inside is of the same path, which makes the silver giant stronger and more agile. Fang Yuan is star path, Mo Tan Sang is qi path, Lang Ya land spirit is a unique existence, and the remaining hairy man Gu Immortals are refinement path, so the giant does not reach maximum power. The many hairy men still let it form. Among ancient battle formations it is the second most acclaimed and does not have very strict requirements. Many other battle formations had strict or strange conditions that were hard to fulfill, which is one reason battle formations vanished over history.
