Chapter 883

Hearing Lang Ya land spirit’s call, Fang Yuan hesitates, then joins him and the hairy man Gu Immortals; Mo Tan Sang makes the same choice. Countless Gu worms teleport onto everyone as the land spirit assembles the battle formation Heavenly Giant Solor, wrapping them in silver light. Qin Bai Sheng does not ask for a win, only enough of a stall, and promises to heal his injuries and restore a huge amount of lifespan if they succeed. At the land spirit’s order, the giant charges Qin Bai Sheng, immobile mid-seizure, and Hei Cheng interposes with his rank six Immortal Gu House, Dark Prison. He first releases the sharp tusk boar, an ancient desolate beast with rank seven Gu Immortal battle strength, then enters Dark Prison himself. The collision breaks one of the boar’s tusks and dents the giant’s chest. The dent closes over almost at once, costing several beads of immortal essence. ^{ch. 883}

Unhappy at the cost, the land spirit curses his predecessor for turning these Gu Immortals into idiots holding the giant back. He orders Mo Tan Sang to become the main attacker with his signature killer move. Mo Tan Sang answers with the qi path killer move Blasting Qi Roar. Fang Yuan marvels at how the formation amplifies a killer move. The hairy man Gu Immortals, cheered, see hope of victory despite the essence it cost them. Judging even his dark arrow Immortal Gu would do little against the giant, Hei Cheng hardens with hatred and determination and sends Dark Prison crashing at it.
