Wind Escape is Hui Feng Zi's immortal movement killer move. It turns the user into a gust of wind and is treated as a top Northern Plains movement method, but it cannot pierce blessed lands or grotto-heavens.
At Luo Po Valley, Qin Bai Sheng presses Hui Feng Zi to join an attack on Lang Ya blessed land and names this killer move as the reason Hui Feng Zi can retreat as he wishes. Hui Feng Zi, a rank seven wind path Gu Immortal, refuses the invitation on the blessed-land and grotto-heaven limit. After a failed exchange with death wind flying blade, he casts wind escape toward the valley sky; the method has saved him many times, including once escaping pursuit by the rank eight Gu Immortal Yao Huang. A Gu formation still forces him out of the wind state and blocks breakout, so he joins Qin Bai Sheng’s side under pressure. ch. 779

Outside Lang Ya’s cloud building he casts wind escape, vanishes as wind, then reappears to cut with death wind flying blade; Fang Yuan recognizes the move and identifies him as Hui Feng Zi. ch. 877 In the later fight he flees again with wind escape when strength path giant hands slam down. ch. 885 During the Central Continent breakout he casts it once more, surging ahead of Jiang Yu’s group for a few breaths before coordinated Gu formations and pursuers slow him. ch. 925
