He Lang Zi

He transforms into a giant wolf the size of a small hill. That wolf has an eerie gaze and speaks in a human voice. ^{ch. 764} The huge wolf is menacing, with huge wolf eyes. ^{ch. 772} As a fragrant sorcerer yin statue wolf he is smaller than usual wolves, with no fur, like an oiled brown wooden statue that gives off an eerie aura. A mushroom-like bone grows on his head and resembles a black triangular hat. His eyes have no shiny pupils. Two lumps of green flame burn there. ^{ch. 876} As a lightning flash giant wolf he is as large as an elephant and covered in blue fur. The tips of that fur hold mysterious blue crystals that give off a weak spark. ^{ch. 877}

Qin Bai Sheng immobilizes him with soul suppression and names him a demonic path Gu Immortal. His first spoken submission is a ruse; after a second crush of his huge wolf form Qin Bai Sheng gives a final submit-or-die ultimatum, and He Lang Zi turns silent. The killer move targets the soul so beast transformation alone cannot resist it. ^{ch. 772}

When Shadow Sect abandons Lang Ya blessed land and returns to defend, he is listed among that defending side with Qin Bai Sheng, Fairy Jiang Yu, and Hui Feng Zi. ^{ch. 886}

At Luo Po Valley he transforms into the lightning flash giant wolf under Hong Chi Ming’s pursuit, then that giant wolf form is cut in two; his corpse returns to human shape and he dies with torn organs. The aftermath list counts him among the dead after Qin Bai Sheng and Fairy Jiang Yu are sacrificed. ^{ch. 925}

Fang Yuan later names him to Lang Ya land spirit as a transformation path Gu Immortal with high battle strength who once rejected Old Ancestor Xue Hu’s recruitment. ^{ch. 979}

A later comparison treats him as the example of a transformation path Gu Immortal who can turn into three types of wolves with different dao marks, but must wait and clear the prior marks before switching forms. ^{ch. 1041}
