She and Fairy Ling Mei control rank seven crescent moon Gu and can unleash peerless crescent moon slash together, a signature famous killer move of Heaven’s Envy Manor. They are hardly ever separated, but at Luo Po Valley limited numbers force them to split while encircling a huge area. They hold back from attacking when Feng Jiu Ge warns that strikes lengthen the trap, then scream as Qin Bai Sheng’s suicide raises winds of assimilation and activate Gu worms to protect their bodies. ^{ch. 924} After the outer battle, the remaining Central Continent Gu Immortals try to save Feng Jiu Ge, Fairy Ling Mei, and her, confirm the true inheritance, and cannot enter; talk among them notes that if the two fairies die, Heaven’s Envy Manor loses peerless crescent moon slash. ^{ch. 927}

Later, inside Spirit Affinity House, Li Jun Ying states that Heaven’s Envy Manor has sent news of the deaths of Ao Xue and Ling Mei. ^{ch. 949}
