Ascending Heaven Plain

Song Qi Yuan later says the plain’s exact location is an open secret among most Eastern Sea Gu Immortals, and that Old Eccentric Tian Nan’s inheritance lies there. Song clan plans to compete for that inheritance against Cai clan and Ruo Lai clan. Old Eccentric Tian Nan is named a Remote Antiquity Era refinement path supreme grandmaster, and historical records say he attempted to refine the immemorial nine heavens and died after failing. ^{ch. 899}

Song clan, Cai clan, and Ruo Lai clan are the main Eastern Sea super forces competing for ownership of Ascending Heaven Plain, and geography keeps Zombie Alliance from intervening there. Blazing Heaven Demoness brings Fang Yuan onto the plain. ^{ch. 985}

Blazing Heaven Demoness names Ascending Heaven Plain a secluded domain of heaven and earth recorded in The Legends of Ren Zu, filled with space path dao marks that lack a regular pattern and rearrange constantly. She tells Fang Yuan to obtain the Tian Nan inheritance there with wisdom path methods. Unlike Dang Hun Mountain and Luo Po Valley, which hold soul path dao marks, Ascending Heaven Plain holds countless space path dao marks. Those marks let even a mortal enter the immemorial nine heavens through the plain. After Ren Zu’s children wrecked many immemorial heavens, the plain was implicated: its space path dao marks became complex, interlinked, and constantly changing, so the ground looks peaceful while holding life threatening traps. ^{ch. 986}

Song Jia Dan later calls the plain able to connect to white heaven and black heaven, and treats that link as strategic ground many want. ^{ch. 987}

Song clan competed with Ruo Lai clan and Cai clan over Ascending Heaven Plain and won Old Eccentric Tian Nan’s true inheritance. Song Xia Qi says the clan has researched that refinement path inheritance since obtaining it, and clan talk later recalls the resources and hardship spent to gain the plain and that inheritance. ^{ch. 2102}
