Space path dao marks are law traces of space path. In an immortal aperture they enlarge space and can let a land spirit teleport; in the wild they warp space, draw phantom beasts, and fill secluded domains.
A ruin bat is a space path desolate beast with countless space path dao marks on its body. Those marks influence the space around it, constructing a land of illusory large halls that drag in anyone who steps into range unless they can resist as a rank eight Gu Immortal would. ch. 784 General dao marks and attainment levels are covered on dao marks and attainment.
Phantom beast habitat
Phantom beasts are normally rare and only appear in places with numerous space path dao marks. ch. 785
Aperture size and teleport
Hu Immortal blessed land has a rather large number of space path dao marks, so it stays large even after losing its north area, and Hu Immortal land spirit can teleport freely. Blessed lands with few space path dao marks have a smaller area and the land spirit cannot teleport. Tai Bai blessed land is only ordinary in space path dao marks: its area is not large, but the sky is very high. ch. 821
Heavenly gateway site
Ascending Heaven Plain is a secluded domain of heaven and earth filled with an uncountable number of space path dao marks. Those marks have no regular pattern, are extremely complex, and rearrange constantly. Precisely because of them, Ascending Heaven Plain can connect to the immemorial nine heavens, and even a mortal can enter through it. The marks are complex like interlinked spider webs and change all the time; even Gu Immortals suffer terrifying damage from them if careless. ch. 986
Expanding aperture space
Larger immortal apertures are better because the larger they are, the more space path dao marks they have, and the more they can carry, raising resource production and growth limits. Expand space Immortal Gu can increase the number of space path dao marks in an immortal aperture and is one way to increase the space inside it. ch. 1027
