Modest Thatched Hut

Fairy Li Shan tells Hei Lou Lan that Jade Pool blessed land holds two great treasures, one of them Thatched Hut, a rank six Immortal Gu House that can attack and defend and that specializes in storage. She says it stores most of Dong Fang tribe’s public wealth, which even Dong Fang Chang Fan cannot take for personal use inappropriately. She also notes that among countless jade pools, the house might still sit at its former location. ^{ch. 796}

During the Tai Qiu stretch, Dong Fang Chang Fan finds he has lost his connection with Thatched Hut, which he treats as his biggest treasure and which his arrangements could hold for a while even against a rank eight Gu Immortal. When he returns, Thatched Hut is missing and Jade Pool blessed land is broken open to the outside world. ^{ch. 801}

Old Oracle ties Jade Pool blessed land falling so easily to Modest Thatched Hut going missing mysteriously. Hong Chi Ming says he would rather use the original name Thatched Hut: Late Antiquity Era’s Three Thatch Demon Immortal created it and spent almost all of his wealth, then Dong Fang Yu inherited it after Three Thatch Demon Immortal died, killed his wife, returned to Dong Fang tribe, and added Gu so he could call it Modest Thatched Hut without changing its effect. Fang Yuan’s soul search of Dong Fang Chang Fan also states that Chang Fan had used the rank six Immortal Gu House Thatched Hut as the core of arrangements in Jade Pool blessed land, and that its disappearance let demonic path cultivators invade. ^{ch. 811}

During Chu Du’s fight over eagle nests, an Immortal Gu House crashes toward him and a Gu Immortal recognizes Modest Thatched Hut as Dong Fang tribe’s former Immortal Gu House. Chu Du’s slap sends it flying. ^{ch. 1109}
