Pi Shui Han moves to strike back at Fang Yuan’s taunting. He stops when Fairy Li Shan bares her rank seven aura and Hei Lou Lan lets several Immortal Gu activate at once: three against one, with no one of Unfettered Scholar’s strength to back him. He swallows the insult, snorting at Fang Yuan as he still fights the desolate beast, and claims bigger objectives than fighting over small matters. ^{ch. 796}

Fairy Li Shan agrees this is no time to fight each other. As a staged act the three have run many times, Fang Yuan growls that they should seize Jade Pool for themselves while the other two rebuke him, citing Chang Fan’s defenses and his temper. Pi Shui Han grows warier. Qie Shi Min and Half Moon Brutemaster wonder where this mysterious force came from and why a man this strong is only its number seven. ^{ch. 796}

Fairy Li Shan proposes working together, since Jade Pool is too big for one side and time is short. Pi Shui Han, glad of a face-saving way out, agrees under his own terms. Thatched Hut is a rank six Immortal Gu House that both attacks and defends and specializes in storage.
