Chapter 1733

Yuan Qiong Du, in charge of restoring fate Gu, blacks out from the backlash of the damage to the refinement path formation, and fate Gu’s recovery is paused. Cong Yan, who with Che Wei had been defending against Bull Demon and Five Elements Grandmaster, bears much of that damage with his own body and nearly collapses until Che Wei protects him. Bing Sai Chuan, inside Calamity Luck Altar, notes that the formation was not completely destroyed and orders Bull Demon and Five Elements Grandmaster back at once. They retreat into the altar, and Bull Demon worries that Flower Lady is still trapped in Heaven Overseeing Tower. Bing Sai Chuan resolves to destroy the refinement path formation completely before any rescue. Then Duke Long steps on the altar, burying most of it in the ground. His anger has turned into ruthlessness, and the rank eight altar, Giant Sun’s own creation, cannot endure his endless punches. ^{ch. 1733}

Bing Sai Chuan prepares a retaliating killer move, Bull Demon is told to repair the altar, and Five Elements Grandmaster is told to deduce the half-destroyed formation. Bing Sai Chuan makes the altar rise into the sky with piercing light, but Duke Long smashes it down with the immortal killer move World Shaking Dragon Hammer. A huge number of Gu worms die, and a large hole opens that exposes Bing Sai Chuan. He is shocked. The Northern Plains Gu Immortals created by call of the ancient rush in to reinforce, and Heavenly Court’s Gu Immortals meet them head-on. ^{ch. 1733}

Seven Extreme Desolation fights its way to Duke Long, and Bing Sai Chuan, admitting the altar cannot defend alone, fights beside it. Duke Long uses Spiraling Dragon Fang, and a hundred of his teeth become snow-white blades that fill the altar with holes and heavily damage the giant. Dragon Claw Strike and Chaotic Dragon Fist destroy the giant’s head again and again and leave the altar in ruins that Bull Demon cannot repair. Nine Dragons Protection wraps Duke Long in nine purple-gold dragon shadows and blocks every attack against him. He presses the altar into the ground. He sends the giant flying with both fists and declares that Heavenly Court will remain invincible for all eternity. ^{ch. 1733}

Bing Sai Chuan, injured by the spiraling dragon fangs, still holds hope. He remembers standing beside Giant Sun Immortal Venerable before Eighty-Eight True Yang Building. Giant Sun Immortal Venerable says it will make all his children strong, but he looks forward more to its collapse, the purpose he built it for. He tells Bing Sai Chuan, a time path Gu Immortal, to hibernate until the collapse signals the chance to attack Heavenly Court. Bing Sai Chuan vows never to give up, since this plan is Ancestor Giant Sun’s arrangement. When Duke Long scorns his blind confidence, he answers that Duke Long will never understand that man’s greatness. ^{ch. 1733}

Elsewhere, Heavenly Court Gu Immortals finally break the killer move perfect pair. A Mao Li Qiu turns into smoke and vanishes. With perfect pair, Mao Li Qiu and its clone had been suppressing the immemorial desolate beasts Ruan Dan and Shabi Ninety-five. Now the two beasts and several Heavenly Court Gu Immortals surround it, and it is soon covered in injuries and likely to die. One of the beasts asks why it wastes its life on Giant Sun Immortal Venerable, who raised it for its innate ability and wanted to kill it to prolong his life. ^{ch. 1733}

Mao Li Qiu remembers sitting at Giant Sun Immortal Venerable’s feet, shivering because it expected to be killed to extend his life. He says instead that he will not kill it, since it is his child like his sons and daughters. Prolonging his life would only drag on the inevitable, and only by leaving their parents can children truly grow up. He asks it to live well and be itself. Mao Li Qiu laughs wildly, its aura surging, and vows to repay the gratitude of raising it even in death. The Heavenly Court immortals warn of its final counterattack and encircle it. ^{ch. 1733}
