Food Path

The teas discussed in the pavilion at the moon festival Qiao Si Liu hosts, willow spiral tea, bewitching tea, drunken flowers, nine recollecting fragrances, and yin-yang tea, are all incomplete Gu recipes; when such a recipe is completed, a Gu Immortal who brews the tea can refine food path Gu worms. Food path has never flourished, and although it is highly significant and widely desired, historical reasons have left very few food path inheritances in the world. ^{ch. 1317}

Dragonfish are not a natural life form. They were created by a food path Gu Immortal, and that creator was the beastman who created food path itself. Fang Yuan obtains that beastman’s inheritance from Shadow Sect and uses its breeding methods plus a food path immortal Gu formation to raise higher-quality dragonfish. ^{ch. 1477}

Outside Gu Immortals infer that he holds a food path true inheritance and try to buy it. The true power of food path is to help a Gu cultivator gain extra dao marks and raise foundation: it sustains livelihood while specific methods make the target stronger than before. Most food path killer moves are used on the user themselves. Reckless Savage Demon Venerable and Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable both have deep food path understanding, and Fang Yuan combines Shadow Sect’s original food path inheritance with Paradise Earth’s food path killer moves and totem recipes from Myriad Beast Fusion Color Heaven.
