Chapter 641

Giant Sun’s will seizes the moment Fang Yuan spends conversing with Mo Yao’s will and slams him into the ground. It follows as a golden sword, but Mo Yao’s will turns Water Pavilion back into liquid armor, preserving his life. Fang Yuan rises on his remaining left arm and laughs that he has stored all of Giant Sun’s immortal essence in his aperture, which enrages the will into stabbing several times faster. The frenzy wrecks its own thoughts, and Fang Yuan guards his brain while the armor heals the stabs that pierce it. Mo Yao’s will begs him to dodge as her immortal essence drains, but he refuses, calling it a rare chance and saying she can lend him Water Pavilion to run on his over twenty green grape immortal essence beads. The two fall into a stalemate. ^{ch. 641}

Hei Lou Lan has led everyone in capturing many Gu worms, which are plentiful inside the wind veil while the formless hands dwindle, and their battle strength returns. Far off, wisdom Gu raises its light halo again to keep others away. The wind veil of assimilation squeezes the space, and with little time left Hei Lou Lan orders everyone to attack together without internal conflict. All agree, since to them killing Fang Yuan means surviving the crisis. ^{ch. 641}

As they are about to strike, Giant Sun’s will laughs that Fang Yuan has fallen into a trap and retreats instantly. A seven fingered formless hand reaches for Fang Yuan. The will’s frenzied fight, even its self-destruction, was only to draw his attention so the hand could be lured over. Lacking immortal essence, it cannot use Immortal Gu and had never relied on Hei Lou Lan and the others. It split into ten wills carrying Immortal Gu as bait and destroyed each as the hand neared, and after eight were lost the hand was lured over. ^{ch. 641}

Fang Yuan darts away with eagle rise Gu but cannot accelerate in time. At the moment of life and death, Mo Yao’s will sends Water Pavilion crashing into the hand. The hand takes the rank seven water harmony Gu, the one core of Water Pavilion’s over three thousand interlinked Gu worms, and the Immortal Gu House breaks down at once. The formless fist carries the Gu into the sky, and Giant Sun’s will laughs that its huge price bought the result it wanted. ^{ch. 641}

Mo Yao’s will orders the Gu destroyed, and Fang Yuan chases the fist with all his movement Gu while Giant Sun’s will blocks. When Hei Lou Lan and the others join in, the will stops blocking and turns on Fang Yuan as a rainbow. As a monk’s spade, the will cuts through the Gu worms circling Fang Yuan, destroying many and taking the red date immortal essence. Few beads were left, and now Mo Yao is stunned to find them gone. ^{ch. 641}

Fang Yuan retreats and calls Mo Yao into his aperture, and she moves the remaining Immortal Gu in with her. He cannot use Tai Bai Yun Sheng’s Man as Before or Landscape as Before, having no permission. With no immortal essence left, she lends worldly wave trace Gu without hesitation. Fang Yuan uses one green grape immortal essence bead to activate it, and a huge wave carries him away from the will at rapid speed. Though he is no water path Gu Immortal, his rank six cultivation lets him activate the rank six Immortal Gu fully. ^{ch. 641}

The will, shrugged off for the first time, snickers that inside the shrinking wind veil it will eventually catch him and calls him dead meat. Fang Yuan answers that if he dies he will drag everyone along, and the will chases with killing intent. Fang Yuan does not dare to fight it. Without Water Pavilion to protect his brain, any weakness lets the will invade his mind and leave him helpless. The will’s words are right, since the shrinking space will leave him unable to dodge until he is killed. ^{ch. 641}
