In the true inheritance secluded domain of Eighty-Eight True Yang Building, Mo Yao’s will names a burning white unparalleled true inheritance that holds a rank seven Immortal Gu Giant Sun Immortal Venerable personally refined, called human qi Gu. The same stretch also calls it man qi Gu and man qi Immortal Gu. ch. 600
Appearance
Human qi Immortal Gu resembled a bee. It was thumb-sized and constantly moved its wings, floating above Qin Ding Ling’s palm, and it emitted a cloud-like qi. ch. 2025
Effect
When advancing to Gu Immortal, heaven, earth, and human qi must stay in balance. Human qi is the Gu Master’s own accumulation, and the text also calls that sum man qi. Man qi Gu takes in the man qi of other people, purifies it, and adds it to oneself at advancement, raising the chance of breakthrough and deepening a new Immortal’s foundation and potential. ch. 600
A mortal will sent near that true inheritance can be refined into a negligible amount of man qi before it arrives. Fang Yuan cannot endure the Gu’s might while still mortal, and he leaves the inheritance rather than claim it. ch. 600 ch. 601
Tai Bai Yun Sheng’s ascension
Giant Sun’s will mobilizes the human qi Immortal Gu in the true inheritance secluded domain. A white light shines on Tai Bai Yun Sheng, and the Gu increases his human qi, raising future potential after he becomes a Gu Immortal. His human qi inflates by ten times. ch. 608 Even with that help, his human qi later runs nearly exhausted during the same advancement. ch. 609
Fang Yuan later recalls that as a mortal he could not get close to the rank seven human qi Gu, and that Tai Bai Yun Sheng’s human qi surpassed his own because of that Gu’s help. ch. 617 ch. 633
Imitation Gu origin
Later text states that Giant Sun Immortal Venerable asked Heavenly Court for human qi Immortal Gu and failed. He then refined imitation Gu, turned it into human qi Immortal Gu, and used that Gu as the core when he established Eighty-Eight True Yang Building. ch. 2151
