Chapter 1106

Qing Xuan Zi, rank six though past a heavenly tribulation, offers no resistance and is killed at once. Nian Er Ping Zhi’s sword light presses on: whoever crosses him next will fall too. A second demonic path Gu Immortal retreats before that sword light kills him. ^{ch. 1106}

Liu tribe’s Liu Zhuan Shen calls out, asking Nian Er Fu whether this is Nian Er tribe’s newest Sword Child. Nian Er Fu, a rank seven Gu Immortal who looks like a plump child, confirms it. The youth holds a portion of the Sword Saint true inheritance, kept inside the tribe by its first supreme elder for ten years, and this is his first outing. That is why he fights this frenzied. ^{ch. 1106}

Liu Zhuan Shen and the others transmit the history to each other. Rank eight Sword Saint Nian Er, a light path prodigy turned sword path, led Nian Er tribe to Northern Plains’ righteous forefront. He left the Sword Saint true inheritance after death, split into three portions behind a test so difficult and deadly that actual inheritors are rare: the first names its holder Sword Child, the second, Swordmaster. The older Gu Immortal shrugs off the wound, mocking him for killing weaklings. Nian Er Ping Zhi’s sword light shatters, poisoned blood spilling from his mouth. Heavily injured, he still vows to fight on, and Old Monster Corpse Poison vows to kill him first. ^{ch. 1106}

Nian Er Fu glances over. He remarks that youngsters these days are fearless and ignorant. Greedy despite his seniority, he leaves Nian Er Ping Zhi to the fight and draws Qing Xuan Zi’s corpse into his own aperture. Even without the Immortal Gu, he says, a corpse’s dao marks are still worth keeping. ^{ch. 1106}

Nian Er Ping Zhi’s attack spurs the rest of the righteous path into Iron Eagle blessed land, Meng Ji among them. Peacock Flying Immortal He Ruo eyes the iron crown eagles: her next transformation is into that form. She wonders whether she might enslave every one of them. ^{ch. 1106}

Iron Eagle blessed land has little ground and much sky, its ground resources worth less. Hei tribe’s hidden Gu Immortals have mobilized every iron crown eagle to seal the sky, so most demonic path Gu Immortals work the ground first. He Ruo cannot fight so many eagles alone. She retreats from the ones she drew and plans to take them one at a time. ^{ch. 1106}

Elsewhere, Murong Qing Si finds a rank six immortal material called affinity wood. It is already being collected by a lone cultivator, Cloud Gentleman Yun Liang, who calls her very perceptive. She waits without interfering. She proposes a spar once he finishes, and he answers that her patience alone let him gather it, so she may take it all if she wins. She asks only for half; they spar without their true strength, settle no victor, and he gives her the half she asked. ^{ch. 1106}

Most righteous path Gu Immortals show restraint; Nian Er tribe’s two are the exceptions. The righteous path Gu Immortals who came, though their side dominates Northern Plains, cannot match the demonic path and lone cultivators in numbers here. Unfettered Scholar settles his clash with Pi Shui Han, his Thousand Disintegrations besting Pi Shui Han’s newly made move, and Pi Shui Han leaves without further contest. Golden Dawn Hall still floats untouched above Iron Eagle blessed land, Gong tribe and Bai Zu tribe still talking inside it. Gong Er, anxious beneath a calm face, asks whether Bai Zu tribe means to enter, since barely anything is left on the ground. They answer, unhurried, that the resources lie in the sky and Hei tribe’s Gu Immortals have not yet appeared. Gong Er is amazed at Bai Zu tribe’s composure despite its smaller foundation. ^{ch. 1106}
