Outside Golden Dawn Hall an old rank seven Gu Immortal dressed in a golden robe invites everyone to attack Hei tribe together, and other immortals recognize him as Gong Er. After a long silence with no Huang Jin response, Bai Zu tribe’s three Gu Immortals greet him and enter the hall, letting him save face. ch. 1105

From Golden Dawn Hall he watches rainbow-colored fireworks of battle over the blessed land, records scenes with hidden Gu worms, grows impatient when no Hei tribe Gu Immortal appears, and orders Gong tribe immortals down to assist and preempt schemes while claiming Gong tribe leads the righteous path. ch. 1107
Bai Zu humiliation
He greets Heavenly Lord Bai Zu alone inside Iron Eagle blessed land. Though proud, he must be polite to a rank eight. He had wanted Golden Dawn Hall to snatch resources, but a warning from Prince Feng Xian stops him, and he leaves bitterly after failing to make other Huang Jin immortals treat him as righteous path leader. ch. 1110
Punished after Iron Eagle
Narration recalls that Gong tribe suffered most at Iron Eagle blessed land and that Gong Er was punished when he returned to the tribe. ch. 1193
