Thousand Disintegrations is Unfettered Scholar's rule path immortal killer move. It fires thin white light that can attack or defend by disintegrating mysterious elements, and sits in Chen clan's hundred / thousand / myriad disintegrations line.
At the Tai Qiu contest over Dong Fang Chang Fan’s arrangements, Unfettered Scholar opens white pupils and shoots two thin rays of faint white light at the glacier and blood veil covering an immemorial ruin bat corpse. Old Lord Can Yang names the move thousand disintegrations and places Unfettered Scholar as originating from Central Continent’s Chen clan, later pushed into Northern Plains until only he remained. The light melts the glacier and shakes the blood veil hard, but Unfettered Scholar soon stops because red date immortal essence consumption is intense and a rank seven aura on the defending side makes a prolonged push unwise. He later turns the same killer move on the blood veil again while Fang Yuan pulls at the corpse mountain. ch. 790
Self defense against fire
When life chasing fire burns him, Unfettered Scholar activates immortal killer move Thousand Disintegrations on himself and on his immortal aperture instead of on the enemy works. The white light continuously disintegrates the faint yellow flame until body and aperture fire are gone. Dong Fang Chang Fan’s star will later names thousand disintegrations as the kind of special method that can extinguish life chasing fire. ch. 791

Unfettered Scholar uses immortal killer move Thousand Disintegrations as a trump card against the Gu Immortal presenting as Dong Fang Yu Liang. After internal backlash drives that body into the rays, the light destroys hair and melts skull toward the brain before Old Lord Can Yang intervenes. Unfettered Scholar fires thousand disintegrations again as Dong Fang Chang Fan briefly regains control and narrowly evades; among the starlight field, thousand disintegrations breaks through obstacles and makes Unfettered Scholar the largest threat. ch. 794

At Jade Pool, Unfettered Scholar joins other rank seven battle strength experts firing immortal killer moves at Dong Fang Chang Fan, including Thousand Disintegrations. Life chasing fire repeatedly forces him to spend thousand disintegrations on himself to cancel the attack. He holds rule path Immortal Gu Disintegrate and the immortal killer move thousand disintegrations, and when Miniscule Mountain’s big to small suppresses the demons, he aims thousand disintegrations at the mountain to answer rule path with rule path.
