Sword Child is the first title on Sword Saint Nian Er's three-portion true inheritance ladder in Nian Er tribe.
Righteous path Gu Immortals at Iron Eagle blessed land explain that Sword Saint Nian Er left a Sword Saint true inheritance with an extremely difficult and deadly test, so actual inheritors are rare. The inheritance is split into three portions. After the first round, obtaining the first portion, the inheritor is known as the Sword Child. Nian Er Fu confirms that Nian Er Ping Zhi obtained the Sword Saint true inheritance and was kept in the tribe for ten years before his first public outing as the newest generation Sword Child. Observers note that a new Sword Child true inheritor had not appeared in Nian Er tribe for three hundred years. ch. 1106
