Gong Wan Ting is a rank seven Gu Immortal of Gong tribe, Prince Feng Xian's official wife, who arrives above Blood Plain in Golden Dawn Hall.

She looks to be in her late twenties, clad in dazzling palace attire whose hems touch the ground, black hair tied high with jade and gold ornaments, snow white skin, slender eyebrows, and a sharp gaze. Nu Er Qian greets her at Golden Dawn Hall’s entrance as elder sister Wan Ting. Yao tribe’s Yao Yuan Ying yields the Longevity Edict after three offers. Gong Wan Ting accepts as if forced, places it at the center of the plaque on the hall entrance, and invites the gathered Huang Jin tribe immortals inside. Her battle strength makes her an undisputed leader of the righteous path on that field. Gong tribe sent her after Prince Feng Xian declined to appear, as the next best option to restore prestige after losses at Iron Eagle blessed land. ch. 1193

Appearance

She looks to be in her late twenties. She wears dazzling palace attire with lower hems that touch the ground. Her black hair is tied up high with jade and gold ornaments. Her skin is snow white, her eyebrows slender, her gaze sharp, and her chest voluptuous and perky. She looks stately and beautiful. ch. 1193

Martial competition

From the main seat she permits Nian Er Ping Zhi, Nian Er tribe’s current generation Sword Child, to take the field after righteous path losses had harmed both reputation and her prestige. Chu Du sends Granny Yin against him. Nian Er Ping Zhi charges as sword light. ch. 1195

Battle continuation

Nian Er Ping Zhi uses the immortal killer move sword heart clarity and kills Granny Yin, whom narration calls a renowned demonic path expert. Gong Wan Ting then negotiates with Chu Du, and both sides pause to set rules for exchanging corpses. When the fight stalls, she sends Ye Lui Qun Xing. ch. 1201

Weighs Chu Sect’s second supreme elder

When Golden Dawn Hall’s immortals make light of Chu Sect’s newly announced second supreme elder, Gong Wan Ting speaks softly, her voice lingering around the whole hall, saying that Chu Du is not blind, that this person is placed above Hao Zhen and Chou Lao Wu, and that they should assume he possesses an outstanding aspect. ch. 1202

Silences the crowd

When the immortals’ clamor grows too loud, Gong Wan Ting’s expression turns cold and she calls out lightly, asking if they mean to turn the grand blood battle martial competition into a joke. The righteous path immortals fall silent at once, and when she asks Chu Du whether his side has only troublemakers left and warns that stalling will only draw ridicule, he does not reply. ch. 1203

Blood Plain close

With no other options left, she steps forward for the final battle against Chu Du, a clash of the two sides’ leaders. Purple light shoots from her like a blade. Chu Du charges. They fight more than a hundred rounds on ground and in the sky until Blood Plain is almost destroyed, and spectators withdraw thirty thousand li. Chu Du attacks more than he defends; she does the opposite, with energy to spare. After another hundred rounds he is covered in injuries, and she no longer looks relaxed. Spectators call it a clash of two experts at the peak of rank seven. By the next dawn a pillar of light from Yao Huang separates them, and the fight is called a draw. Chu Du will not kill her, because she is Prince Feng Xian’s wife and killing her would offend him. ch. 1235
