At Blood Plain during the martial competition, starlight shines brilliantly as if stars fill the sky, while the rest of Northern Plains has a bright sun with no clouds. Golden Dawn Hall floats in the air above the plain while Gu Immortals on Chu Du’s side stand on clouds.^{ch. 1201}

Yao Huang and Heavenly Lord Bai Zu choose Blood Plain as the location for a martial competition meant to rile juniors before the larger conflict. News of the Blood Plain martial competition spreads through Northern Plains and reaches other regions.^{ch. 1190} Two Immortal Gu Houses stop above Blood Plain, a rare scene in Northern Plains’ Gu Immortal world.^{ch. 1193}

From Northern Plains’ map, Blood Plain sits on the left and Tai Qiu on the right, with Hei tribe’s Iron Eagle blessed land between them. Connecting Blood Plain, Iron Eagle blessed land, and Tai Qiu forms an irregular V shape. Tai Qiu is not too far from Blood Plain. Placing an immortal aperture in Blood Plain would cause a huge commotion and attract countless gazes.^{ch. 1206}
