Hao Zhen

With Fang Yuan, Chou Lao Wu, Li Si Chun, and Immortal Wang, Hao Zhen joins the night raid on Iron Eagle blessed land and credits Chu Du for exploiting Bai Zu tribe’s internal conflict. When Immortal Wang turns into the immemorial desolate beast heaven swallowing hound to tear open the blessed land’s defenses, Hao Zhen and Chou Lao Wu react with surprise, wondering whether it means rank eight battle strength. ^{ch. 1169}

With Chou Lao Wu he casts the double immortal killer move Wind Thunder Roar to save Immortal Wang from Green City Rampage. He cries Thunder, sparks turn a hundred steps around him into a plasma pool, and that lightning fuses with Chou Lao Wu’s wind into a thick wind and lightning pillar that hits the green giant at peak rank seven battle strength. The cast leaves him pale and both of them weakened, so they retreat. ^{ch. 1171} They had acted for compensation, not knowing Fang Yuan had steered the formation onto Immortal Wang. ^{ch. 1171 ch. 1172}

After Bai Zu Wei dies in the formation backlash, they panic, rely on Chu Du, ^{ch. 1172} and later enter Hei Fan grotto-heaven, where Chu Du promises them sixty percent of the space if they hold it and they pledge to go through thick and thin with him. ^{ch. 1173}

Inside Hei Fan grotto-heaven they use Wind Thunder Roar again against desolate beast wolves. The wind and lightning pillar sweeps the field at the peak of rank seven, then both are weak for a stretch and allies protect them as a tool against beast groups. Li Si Chun escorts their retreat. Despite incomplete recovery they return when the situation turns dire. ^{ch. 1178}

After Chu Sect’s formal founding day, Chu Du only mildly punishes them for Bai Zu Wei’s death. They feel immense gratitude and become the two most loyal people in Chu Sect. ^{ch. 1181} Hao Zhen greets Fang Yuan and Chu Du as first and second supreme elder inside Hei Fan grotto-heaven and reports early development there. ^{ch. 1182}

In the blood battle martial competition he fires lightning at Nian Er Yi Fang and is blocked by Sick Tree Spring Armor. ^{ch. 1196} Chu Du sends him and Chou Lao Wu among others to contest Yuan tribe, Meng tribe, and further opponents. Narration states their Wind Thunder Roar is renowned throughout Northern Plains, though both already carry injuries from separate fights. ^{ch. 1201} He and Chou Lao Wu are Chu Sect’s third and fourth supreme elders, uncomfortable under Fang Yuan yet unwilling to damage the sect’s reputation. ^{ch. 1202}

Against Murong Gang he spat a lapis lazuli thunderbolt and later admits defeat pale. He says a two on two with Wind Thunder Roar could wipe foes, while knowing the move needs a safe environment. ^{ch. 1207} By the competition’s late stage he has lost, his left arm chopped off with dao marks that make healing hard, and he carefully offers Chu Du a stronger blood path friend whom Chu Du refuses. ^{ch. 1226}

At Chu tribe headquarters he leans on a wall with arms crossed, composed while Chou Lao Wu frets over Chu Du’s closed cultivation on the day of Fairy Black Moon’s challenge. The text names him and Chou Lao Wu the wind and lightning demons for Wind Thunder Roar, and after siding with Chu Du they are second only to Chu Du as the tribe’s strongest battle strength. He seizes Immortal Wang for suggesting Chu Du avoid the fight, then stands with Chou Lao Wu, Immortal Wang, and Li Si Chun as external elders facing anxious adopted sons and new recruits. He analyzes Fairy Black Moon’s aim to lead Northern Plains lone and demonic immortals by defeating Chu Du. ^{ch. 2202}

During Chu Du’s contest with Fairy Black Moon he watches with Chu tribe’s supreme elders. When Dark Capital Strength Biao appears he grits his teeth and says that without that move their first supreme elder would already have won. ^{ch. 2213}
