Chou Lao Wu

On the night attack he explains Bai Zu tribe’s Hei tribe conflict and resource point defenses beside Hao Zhen. ^{ch. 1169} With Hao Zhen he casts Wind Thunder Roar to save Immortal Wang. He spends red date immortal essence, dark green wind envelops him into a compressed wind ball, he growls Wind, and their joint roar fuses that wind with Hao Zhen’s lightning into a wind and lightning pillar. He is not feeling good afterward and they retreat quickly. ^{ch. 1171}

After Bai Zu Wei dies they are flustered. He curses Immortal Wang for shamelessness once healing starts, yet the shared blame draws him closer to Hao Zhen, a rare friendship among demonic path Gu Immortals. They decide they can only rely on Chu Du. ^{ch. 1172} In Hei Fan grotto-heaven he admires Domination Immortal alone, accepts Chu Du’s promise of sixty percent of the space with Hao Zhen, and says meeting Domination Immortal is the greatest blessing in his life. ^{ch. 1173}

They cast Wind Thunder Roar again against desolate beast wolves. Peak rank seven battle strength clears most of the pack, then both are weak and must be protected. Li Si Chun escorts them out. They still return when the fight turns critical. ^{ch. 1178}

Chu Du only mildly punishes them for Bai Zu Wei’s death at Chu Sect’s founding. They become the two most loyal people in Chu Sect. ^{ch. 1181} Joint immortal killer moves between close Gu Immortals are compared to Traveling Three Elites, with their Wind Thunder Roar called similar. ^{ch. 1184}

Behind Chu Du he calls Nian Er Yi Fang crafty for pretending panic while knowing Nian Er Ping Zhi was safe. ^{ch. 1196} Chu Du sends him with Hao Zhen and others to contest Yuan tribe, Meng tribe, and further foes. Narration states their Wind Thunder Roar is renowned throughout Northern Plains even while both are injured. ^{ch. 1201} He and Hao Zhen are Chu Sect’s third and fourth supreme elders, uneasy under Fang Yuan but unwilling to harm the sect’s name. ^{ch. 1202} After Hao Zhen’s loss to Murong Gang he is furious at being looked down on, while Hao Zhen speaks of a two on two Wind Thunder Roar wipeout they both know is hard to use safely. ^{ch. 1207}

At Chu tribe headquarters on Fairy Black Moon’s challenge day he rubs his hands, thin and humped, more depressed than usual, while Hao Zhen stays composed. The text calls them the wind and lightning demons for Wind Thunder Roar and, after siding with Chu Du, second only to Chu Du as the tribe’s strongest battle strength. He pulls Hao Zhen off Immortal Wang, joins the discussion of Fairy Black Moon’s aims, and warns the others when more Gu Immortals arrive. He stands with Hao Zhen, Immortal Wang, and Li Si Chun as core members who enjoy the tribe’s benefits and fear its decline if Chu Du falls. He asks Chu Du about territory defense when almost everyone leaves for the battlefield. ^{ch. 2202}

Watching Chu Du versus Fairy Black Moon, he snorts that strength path Gu Immortals are strongest at close combat and that the pair are still probing at range. When Dark Capital Strength Biao appears he has a cold expression and says it is the first time he has seen it, calling the totem killer move too convenient because it can stay dormant on the skin and activate with a thought. ^{ch. 2213}
