Heaven’s will learned both moves’ weaknesses in his first two calamities. In this calamity the orioles counter both moves, a situation it set up on purpose. Unlike his previous calamity, where Dang Hun Mountain let him shelter from wind flowers, these orioles are Reckless Savage’s true meaning itself, so defending alone would cost him the greater benefit, and he goes on the offense instead. Grateful he retrieved it, he activates flying sword Immortal Gu. Only the orioles he personally kills earn him true meaning, while more die on their own for nothing, each kill draining a huge amount of green grape immortal essence. He judges he needs new methods for his next tribulation, and thinks wisdom path methods could easily deduce new ones, but he does not dare use his immortal zombie body. ch. 1112
Poison spit, very effective before, is now useless against the orioles, as the trees cry out, uproot, and become huge treemen charging slowly toward Dang Hun Mountain.
