Chapter 1102

Tian Xia Xin tells Chu Du the insignia is an information path method pointing to an information path true inheritance in Eastern Sea, not Northern Plains. Chu Du’s hopes fall. It was carved onto the flying sword Immortal Gu after the Gu already existed, and has held there despite dao marks of different paths normally resisting each other. He returns the flying sword Immortal Gu. He had only used it to supply clues, and it was never his payment. The clue thus hands Chu Du a way to pressure Fang Yuan. Chu Du resolves to obtain the method for drawing out Reckless Savage’s true meaning whatever it costs. Hei Cheng’s four supreme elders sit at the head; Hei Cheng himself remains Fang Yuan’s captive, his close friend Hei Bai lies injured, and six more Hei tribe Gu Immortals, all rank six, make up the rest. First supreme elder stays silent: Dark Prison had been his to lend, and he shares blame for trusting the wrong man. Third supreme elder cuts off the recriminations, reminding everyone they share Hei tribe’s bloodline and will fall together if the tribe does, and the scolding stops. Hei Bai finally speaks up. A wood path Gu Immortal of rank six cultivation, he is close to Hei Cheng, and the others answer him only coldly for it. He states that righteous path, demonic path, and lone immortals alike are here only for gain, and that the tribe’s survival matters more than resources, benefits, or reputation. Others mock this as surrender: with Hei Lou Lan and Hei Cheng both branded traitors and Imperial Court blessed land destroyed, the Huang Jin tribes will never let Hei tribe off regardless.
