Hei Fan true inheritance

In Hei Fan grotto-heaven he obtains a rank five information path mortal Gu that records the details of Hei Fan’s true inheritance. The greatest treasure named there is the rank eight time path Immortal Gu Years Flow Like Water, sealed with rank six year Gu in ice made by Immortal Bing Ren; Hei Fan’s only rank eight Immortal Gu in life was Years Flow Like Water. The same record names rank seven after Immortal Gu at the center of the ant ball and explains its feeding through black ant mortal Gu. ^{ch. 1129}

The inheritance lists a set of immortal killer moves that alter the immortal aperture’s rate of time, and notes that immortal level day Gu or month Gu would cut mortal Gu spend and raise the effect. Other named moves include Years Grant Strength, Hundred Years Harmony, Unlucky Year, and Endless Trouble, which delays a calamity or tribulation into the next one at the cost of angering heaven’s will. Hundred Years Harmony uses year Gu as its core with many supplementary information path mortal Gu to create an alliance agreement lasting a hundred years, which is time path Gu worms reaching an information path effect. Bountiful year is recorded there too, raising the production rate of every resource in the immortal aperture for the year that follows activation; Hei Fan praises it greatly and records that he did not create it but obtained it in a trade with a person called Pill Immortal. Hei Fan left few Immortal Gu, but with mortal Gu he formed many immortal killer moves meant to cover varied situations. ^{ch. 1130}

When he inherits Hei Fan’s true inheritance he becomes owner of Hei Fan grotto-heaven and can command its brass bell heavenly spirit. He praises the work as that of a time path great expert and notes that the inheritance’s difficulty is why Hei tribe descendants failed while he succeeded with Attitude Gu, Familiar Face, and Chu Du’s help for the heavenly crystal eagle nest. He plans to move the grotto-heaven’s resources into his aperture and give the grotto-heaven itself to Chu Du, rating the grotto-heaven at about thirty percent of the true inheritance’s value. ^{ch. 1132}

Soon after, with the inheritance in hand, he judges his strength risen enough to face his fourth earthly calamity alone. ^{ch. 1134}

Even after obtaining it, Years Flow Like Water remains sealed because its leaked aura would draw immemorial year beasts; Hei Fan’s outstanding defensive methods use that Gu as the core, while Fang Yuan’s weaker year Gu defense is the one Hei Fan himself used in his earlier days. ^{ch. 1179}

Fang Yuan also notes that Hei Fan’s true inheritance can accelerate the upper extreme heavenly eagle’s aging to mature it rapidly, and that it holds the opposite method too, though he does not risk that unfamiliar killer move when short on time. ^{ch. 1210}

Hundred Years Harmony, a killer move recorded in the inheritance, is a classic example of grandmaster attainment level, using time path Gu worms to produce an information path effect, and that shows Hei Fan’s time path attainment level was at least grandmaster. ^{ch. 1326}

Fang Yuan’s time path attainment has remained at ordinary level all along; he judges that if it rose and combined with Hei Fan’s true inheritance, his battle strength could definitely rise sharply. ^{ch. 1386}

Fang Yuan unseals Years Flow Like Water and uses it as the core of Year Beast Summoning. The inheritance records two versions of that killer move: one cored on year Gu that can summon only a single year beast, and one cored on Years Flow Like Water that can summon an army of them. ^{ch. 1401}
