Eagle egg

Inside the heavenly crystal eagle nest sits a huge egg the height of a young man, oval, with a glass-like shell reflecting nine-colored light. It is covered in death energy and devoid of life: an absolutely dead egg with no disguise. Fang Yuan cannot recognize it from ordinary knowledge and judges it is very likely an immemorial desolate beast’s egg. Even without further inheritance, the heavenly crystal eagle nest alone is an entire nest of rank eight immortal materials of great value. ^{ch. 1116}

After exchanging for Lang Ya information and checking it, he concludes: this egg is the upper extreme heavenly eagle. Upper extreme heavenly eagles are immemorial desolate beasts with rank eight battle strength. If the egg is theirs, Hei Fan’s true inheritance has not been taken away yet. ^{ch. 1116}

Upper extreme heavenly eagles are space path immemorial desolate beasts; a mature adult can travel the immemorial nine heavens or grotto-heavens. When one dies of old age it produces an egg holding all of its memories and the space path dao marks accumulated over its life. When the chick breaks out, the eagle lives another life with those memories and dao marks. ^{ch. 1117}

Hei Fan left such an egg; it is the key to entering Hei Fan grotto-heaven. The heavenly eagle egg inside the nest appears dead. Either it died naturally after long neglect, leaving only the nest and a dead immemorial egg of great value, or Hei Fan removed its life force on purpose and it needs a special method to unseal. ^{ch. 1117}

Fang Yuan spends Lang Ya Sect contribution points on heavenly crystals, but the amount is not enough. He cannot hatch the upper extreme heavenly eagle egg yet. ^{ch. 1149}

When Fang Yuan forces spring and summer environments for his eagle groups’ food chain, many female eagles lay eggs in spring. Bloody mating conflicts rise under the sudden season switches, and a stationed Gu Immortal acts as nanny. That arrangement is not a complete disadvantage: at the very least, he gains many eagle eggs. ^{ch. 1794}
