As a newly hatched chick it already stands at a youngster’s height. It has sharp eagle eyes, dark eyes in close view, sparse yellow feathers on the head at first, then a thick feather layer, a strong body, and dark sharp claws that scratch heavenly crystal like thin paper. In a few days it grows as tall as Fang Yuan. A mature upper extreme heavenly eagle is huge, multiple times the size of a whale. ^{ch. 1118}

Fang Yuan restores the processed egg with a blood path method tied to Hei tribe bloodline recognition, and a small bird breaks the shell. Hei Fan’s arrangement removed previous-life memories while leaving space path dao mark foundation, and made the chick feel kinship toward the bloodline Fang Yuan presents. Its food is heavenly crystals. At that stage its battle strength is only rank six level, far from maturity, though its flight speed already matches sword escape Immortal Gu in Fang Yuan’s estimate. The immemorial desolate beast dies of hunger, and its trait holds: death yields an egg that will hatch it reborn. Purple Mountain True Monarch offers Fang Yuan the heavenly crystals for nurturing the eagle, then warns him that even turning it into a true immemorial desolate beast might not let him control it, since he knows of Fang Yuan’s enslavement path method.
