Walking meat tree

A giant tree fights Star Lord Wan Xiang and Immortal Monkey King Shi Lei inside Starry Sky grotto-heaven’s eighth star hall, moving branches that are peculiar, soft and thick like octopus tentacles. Shi Lei names it a walking meat tree and an ancient desolate plant of legend. A branch sends Wan Xiang out of the hall, and he finds that a hit from the tree etches strength path dao marks into his body and deals his internal organs a huge blow. He goes flying on purpose, to force Shi Lei into the fight in his place. The broken tree falls out of the hall in two pieces, trunk and crown, and Fang Yuan and Hei Lou Lan recognize it where it lands. ^{ch. 721}

Fang Yuan states that the walking meat tree is a life form of black heaven, one of the two immemorial nine heavens still standing, which makes it easier to obtain than the life forms of the lost heavens, and he judges that rank eight Gu Immortal Seven Star Child most likely brought this one back from his own explorations. Hei Lou Lan reads its aura as rank seven battle strength at least and names it a rare strength path plant. Its branches, trunks and leaves are all excellent materials for refining strength path Gu worms, which is why two strength path Gu Immortals want it. ^{ch. 722}

Retreating from Seven Star Child immortal zombie, Shi Lei flies down to the walking meat tree and puts two segments of it into his immortal aperture. ^{ch. 726}

Starry Sky grotto-heaven’s many desolate beasts, its ancient desolate beasts, the zombie dragon guarding the eighth star hall and the walking meat tree all left a deep impression on Fang Yuan. ^{ch. 909}

The walking meat tree is a rare strength path ancient desolate plant that usually grows in black heaven. To cultivate one, Hei Fan enclosed a portion of Hei Fan grotto-heaven in darkness and built it a habitat suited to its growth. Its branches are peculiar, soft and thick like octopus tentacles, able to send desolate beasts flying with a light whip. Fang Yuan takes this one, his second encounter with the plant after Starry Sky grotto-heaven, and regrets that the eat strength Immortal Gu he had wanted a walking meat tree for, to raise his own strength path dao marks, is already destroyed. He relocates it into Mini Black Heaven inside his sovereign immortal aperture, whose darkness closely matches true immemorial black heaven, and the tree settles in readily, stretching out its branches. ^{ch. 1133}

By this point Mini Black Heaven, kept without any light, holds only a few ancient desolate plant walking meat trees. ^{ch. 1461}
