Chen Wan Yun presses her not to trust the main tribe while they remain trapped in the grotto-heaven. Chen Le still defends Hei Cheng and repeats his talk of injuries from defeating Hei tribe Gu Immortals. Chen Chi speaks of using her wish to marry that superior immortal for his own ends, and Fang Yuan reads the talk as Chen Chi sacrificing her for benefits while fishing for Immortal Gu. Through those days Fang Yuan gains extensive knowledge of Hei Fan grotto-heaven and its immortals from this gullible girl. ^{ch. 1123}

After Fang Yuan kills Chen Chi’s line of kin, Chen Le activates an immortal killer move that conceals her appearance and runs for help, then sends the warning of bright light so the remaining immortals can defend together. Fang Yuan recognizes that alert as the method she had mentioned, unused for a hundred years, and judges he underestimated her. ^{ch. 1125}

After Fang Yuan kills Chen Wan Yun and other rank seven immortals, Chen Le finds a letter stating that Fang Yuan disguised as her to kill Zheng Tuo. She joins Feng Jun, Zhou Min, and others as cores of Green City battle formation. Fang Yuan thanks her for the information that let him kill Chen Wan Yun and the others, then a flash of light pierces her defenses and kills her instantly.
