Relic Gu are a common catalyst in Immortal Gu recipes, and Blood Deity’s remnant recipe is stated to need large amounts of them. After selling off other remnant recipes in treasure yellow heaven, Fang Yuan names Spring Autumn Cicada, Second Aperture Gu, and the Blood Deity remnant recipe as the most precious recipes he still holds back from sale. ^{ch. 469}

Fang Yuan identifies the blue charm lightning shadow harassing Hu Immortal blessed land as a puppet of Myriad Dragon Dock’s Vicious Lightning Fiend, and offers to let the exposure drop in exchange for the Blood Deity remnant recipe rather than the puppet-making killer move. When Vicious Lightning Fiend first hands over only a forty percent copy, Fang Yuan calls the scam by name and holds the puppet’s exposure over him until the genuine seventy percent remnant recipe is surrendered.
