Chapter 706

Fang Yuan leads the group to the blue charm lightning shadow, still trading blows with the iron crown eagle. Hei Lou Lan doubts this is the Gu Immortal he meant. Tai Bai Yun Sheng agrees it has been acting really strangely, and Fairy Li Shan notes that, born of an earthly calamity, it should target Fang Yuan, yet it has fought desolate beasts instead. Fang Yuan explains: the shadow was fine until he sent it out of the blessed land, after which a lightning path Gu Immortal captured and refined it into a puppet. That Gu Immortal drove the puppet to barge in during Immortal Crane Sect’s attack, hoping to fish for benefit from the chaos. Tai Bai Yun Sheng adds that rumors already credit Myriad Dragon Dock with instigating Great Heavenly Sword Sect’s independence bid, so that killing He Feng Yang would draw Immortal Crane Sect away and let that sect break free.
