Iron Cabinet Gu is a Tie clan Gu used with qi flow Gu to lock space and capture demonic Gu Masters.
On San Cha Mountain, four rank four middle stage Tie clan Gu Masters use iron cabinet Gu at once to lock down the area around Bai Ning Bing. ch. 352 Li Xian tells Fang Yuan that those old fellows trapped her with iron cabinet Gu along with qi flow Gu, locking about a thousand feet around that area. The combination leaves Bai Ning Bing a trapped beast of Tie clan behind a purple qi barrier. ch. 353

Recipe and capture use
The iron cabinet Gu recipe was created by Tie clan refinement path master Tie Yi Ban. He meant a firm storage Gu. After the first refine, he gave it to Tie Xue Leng to test; the Divine Investigator used it to capture people and found it durable. Supplemented with qi flow Gu, its effect is amplified, and from then on iron cabinet Gu became an efficient Tie clan means to capture demonic Gu Masters. Li Xian notes that the four old-timers must maintain both Gu, and that if the four attack together the purple qi barrier will disappear. ch. 354
Barrier and rescue
In the light barrier formed by iron cabinet Gu, Bai Ning Bing stays trapped by the four old-timers. When Fang Yuan chases Tie Ba Xiu, the four revoke iron cabinet Gu to reinforce. At the last moment Tie Ba Xiu places his palm on Tie Ruo Nan’s back and forms a square iron cabinet that seals her unharmed while he dies. ch. 363 With the barrier revoked, Bai Ning Bing is free; the four then protect Tie Ruo Nan’s iron cabinet Gu at their center. ch. 364
San Cha confinement
Tie Ruo Nan says Tie clan had used iron cabinet Gu and qi flow Gu around an area when planning a staged self-destruction scene. She later warns Fang Yuan that outside the main hall, Tie clan’s four old-timers are using iron cabinet Gu and qi flow Gu to confine the space so that no one can infiltrate. ch. 396
Aura seal
Fang Yuan summons the Gu he captured on San Cha Mountain, unique to Tie clan, and pours primeval essence into it, turning it into a red iron cabinet that seals a dark pearl holding Fixed Immortal Travel. The Immortal Gu aura is cut without leaking. ch. 433
