On San Cha Mountain, Li Xian tells Fang Yuan that several Tie clan old fellows trapped Bai Ning Bing with iron cabinet Gu along with qi flow Gu, locking about a thousand feet around that area. ch. 353

The combination of iron cabinet Gu and qi flow Gu leaves Bai Ning Bing a trapped beast of Tie clan. ch. 353 Li Xian recounts that iron cabinet Gu’s effect is amplified when it is supplemented with qi flow Gu, and that from then on iron cabinet Gu became an efficient Tie clan means to capture demonic Gu Masters. Watching the purple qi barrier that holds Bai Ning Bing, he notes that the four Tie clan old-timers must maintain both Gu, leaving them unable to use their team attacks, and that if the four attacked together the barrier would disappear. ch. 354
San Cha confinement
Tie Ruo Nan says Tie clan had used iron cabinet Gu and qi flow Gu around an area when planning a staged self-destruction scene. The days Tie clan’s four old-timers spent trapping Bai Ning Bing looked like Tie clan’s reprisal, but in truth they were a scheme against Fang Yuan. Tie Ruo Nan later warns Fang Yuan that Tie clan’s four old-timers are outside the main hall, sealing the space off with iron cabinet Gu and qi flow Gu so that nobody can get in. ch. 396
Immortal Gu identification
Fang Yuan identifies a Gu in a dream-realm loadout as qi flow Gu, a rank six qi flow Immortal Gu. That Immortal Gu has the shape of a cockroach and is grey-white, like the texture of a stone, light to the touch, cold and slightly rough. He notes that qi flow Gu only has support characteristics. Inside the dream realm it is his only Immortal Gu, which he can use as the core of immortal killer moves with black iron qi, orchid vitality qi and moving dragon qi as supplementary immortal materials, though outside it he does not have qi flow Immortal Gu. ch. 1809
