Chapter 980

He and the others first defend the mortal Gu house cloud buildings, but Shadow Sect destroys them, breaking the twelve wave cloud confusion formation. With his stalling plan disrupted, the land spirit paces, desperate. At this crucial moment in his previous life the land spirit transformed, while now Fang Yuan advises an ancient battle formation instead. The land spirit agrees. He unleashes Heavenly Giant Solor. ^{ch. 980}

Fang Yuan urges bringing in more fighters, but the land spirit hesitates over his hidden hairy man Gu Immortals working Refinement Cauldron, among whom he somewhat senses traitors. Fang Yuan promises he can guard the secret and proposes Hei Lou Lan and Fairy Li Shan instead. Losing ground as Qin Bai Sheng’s side attacks harder, the land spirit has no choice and accepts. Hei Cheng’s Immortal Gu House Dark Prison resists the formation. Qin Bai Sheng’s blade damages it.
