At a River of Time tributary he activates Submission Song against a year beast encirclement; the battlefield goes silent to the ears while every Gu Immortal and year beast hears it in the mind. Many year beasts submit and fight their former allies, including desolate level and ancient year beasts, and he builds a defensive circle inside the encirclement. The song encompasses wisdom path, enslavement path, sound path, and soul path, affects the mind, and takes inspiration from Qin Bai Sheng’s five finger fist heart sword. Fang Yuan keeps summoning more year beasts to outpace how many the song can control. ^{ch. 1401}

When an immemorial year beast’s aura frenzies the year beasts, enslaving them with Submission Song becomes many times harder and Feng Jiu Ge’s pressure rises. ^{ch. 1402}

Through song warrior the move can become a submission song warrior; among four offensive songs it stands with green jade song, heaven and earth song, and separation song. ^{ch. 1421}

At Lang Ya blessed land he uses Submission Song as his second immortal killer move after green jade song; wisdom, enslavement, sound, and soul paths affect the mind and can temporarily flip desolate beasts and ancient desolate beasts, but Lang Ya land spirit has already sent those beasts into immortal apertures on Fang Yuan’s warning, so the song is in vain. ^{ch. 1545}
