After freezing rain frozen earth falls in Yu Lu blessed land, the icy world becomes dark evening weather under looming clouds. A faint female voice welcomes the invaders. Shark Demon names it at once. Sandstorms scatter, and soul beasts appear from all directions. ch. 898
Su Bai Man warns Xing Xiang Zi and Bo Dan to act quickly. Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable’s other creations leave a way to survive. This one holds Spectral Soul Demon Venerable’s killing nature and is the most deadly battlefield killer move among Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable’s creations. ch. 898
Unlike freezing rain frozen earth, which shows no starting flaws, fighting soul battlefield exposes hiding spots of mortal Gu from the start. There are no traps: destroying a hidden spot causes no backlash and does not force deductions to restart. The number of Gu is huge, thousands or tens of thousands of hidden spots. Offensive power is several times greater. Freezing rain frozen earth attacks in waves with rest between them. This battlefield never stops. Soul beasts increase until desolate beast level forms, then more than ten desolate soul beasts, then ancient desolate soul beasts. The group lasts under seven minutes before using incomplete Profound Ice House to leave. ch. 898
Fang Yuan can dismantle at most five to six hidden spots each time. He judges the difficulty is speed and endurance, not the unraveling itself, and that clearing tens of thousands of spots would take at least thirty minutes. At Luo Po Valley, Feng Jiu Ge compares Qin Bai Sheng’s soul taker battlefield to this move. Soul taker battlefield, created by Spectral Soul Demon Venerable when young, only converts the souls of living beings into soul beasts. Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable used that foundation to create fighting soul battlefield, which can produce endless soul beasts. Qin Bai Sheng answers that Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable was too kind and weakened Spectral Soul Demon Venerable’s killing intent, so the move lost hope of going a step further. ch. 898
Second assault
Shark Demon’s group re-enters the dark sandstorm. Ancient soul beasts start to form after seven minutes, so the aim is to dismantle the battlefield before then. ch. 903 Fang Yuan can now destroy seven to eight hidden Gu at once, up from five to six, after practicing wisdom path techniques in Hu Immortal blessed land. Xie Shu Fang’s yellow and white vapor, an immortal killer move, destroys up to a hundred hidden mortal Gu in a round. ch. 904
When seven minutes pass, ancient soul beasts appear again and encircle the group. Shark Demon activates incomplete Profound Ice House. It tears soul beasts apart until ancient soul beasts pin it and immortal essence burns hard. ch. 904 Inside the house, Bo Dan reports a hundred and seventy-eight hidden spots left. Soul beasts are no longer being produced. Core Immortal Gu remain the hardest to take down, and the house restricts the passengers’ own methods. ch. 905
Xie Shu Fang uses distinct map, destroys most of the remaining hidden Gu, and pulls one Immortal Gu from the map. After that Immortal Gu is lost, the battlefield breaks down rapidly. Remaining Immortal Gu and mortal Gu disappear and retreat on their own. Soul beasts make a final frenzy, then disintegrate with the battlefield. Xie Shu Fang warns that the next layer, eight doors labyrinth, lacks this killing nature but is harder to deal with. The group retreats with Profound Ice House after a pitiful victory. ch. 905

They are immortal killer moves from different paths, yet they do not clash with the blessed land and seem to complement each other. ch. 917

After refining star thought Immortal Gu, Fang Yuan unravels the Yu Lu battlefield layers one after another. He grasps eighty to ninety percent of freezing rain frozen earth, fighting soul battlefield, and eight doors labyrinth, even without the Immortal Gu needed to recreate those battlefield killer moves. ch. 982
