Chapter 1579

Feng Jiu Ge survives the immemorial yama soul explosion with his seven orifices bleeding intensely, saved by a thin light armor. He names it Fate Armor, a rank eight Immortal Gu. Fang Yuan never knew of it, having missed its use in the River of Time. He asks whether it can save Feng Jiu Ge again, for one more immemorial yama child remains. Feng Jiu Ge explains that Fate Armor follows only the results dictated by fate, so it can protect him from any killer move, but only as weakly as paper if he is already fated to die. ^{ch. 1579}

Were fate Immortal Gu destroyed, the armor would be reduced greatly to ordinary rank eight defense, but with fate Immortal Gu only injured it unleashes defenses beyond rank eight. Feng Jiu Ge holds on at a huge immortal essence cost. ^{ch. 1579}

A purple galaxy explodes open in yama battlefield and shows Lang Ya blessed land outside. Fairy Zi Wei deduces far faster than Fang Yuan expected, because activated Fate Armor lets Heavenly Court sense Feng Jiu Ge and serves her as a receptor. Yama battlefield breaks apart entirely. Fang Yuan spits blood as a large number of mortal Gu die in his immortal aperture, and the Immortal Gu used are injured to some extent. ^{ch. 1579}

Fang Yuan returns to Lang Ya blessed land in emperor yama form, and Feng Jiu Ge flies back to Fairy Zi Wei, warning his teammates that Fang Yuan can steal Immortal Gu from an immortal aperture. Chen Yi recognizes Fang Yuan as the one who fought him in green ghost desert and stole Qing Chou’s Soul Beast Token. Fang Yuan has killed no one, and emperor yama and great thief ghost hand are exposed. Fairy Zi Wei, naming him as both Liu Guan Yi and Suan Bu Jin, reads his plan as controlling green ghost desert to collect soul cores for cultivation at Dang Hun Mountain and Luo Po Valley. She sees he can restore the destroyed Dang Hun Mountain. ^{ch. 1579}

Fairy Zi Wei judges that stealing Fixed Immortal Travel shows that his luck is very strong, though he failed to kill Feng Jiu Ge. In the chaotic fighting that follows, a weakened Feng Jiu Ge shelters under her protection, while Fang Yuan, helpless against Chen Yi’s ancient tree prison cage, joins the super immortal formation and Heavenly Giant Solor. Fairy Zi Wei shows rank eight might far above Chen Yi. Chen Yi’s Genesis Lotus true inheritance is no worse than her Star Constellation one, but wisdom path killer moves are more complex and cost much more mental energy. ^{ch. 1579}

Fairy Zi Wei and the rest can counter emperor yama and great thief ghost hand. Continuous explosions cover Fairy Zi Wei’s side and would force the hand out if it came close. Fang Yuan also stops using great thief ghost hand often, fearing that each use leaks intel for Fairy Zi Wei to deduce from. Thunder Ghost True Monarch returns in a flash. ^{ch. 1579}
