Chapter 1888

Several days later on a nameless Eastern Sea island, eight Gu Immortals gather: Miao Ming Shen as leader, with Gui Qi Ye, Feng Jiang, Immortal Hua Die, Zeng Luo Zi, Tu Tou Tuo, Tong Hua and Fang Yuan. Fang Yuan is disguised as Chu Ying. Miao Ming Shen has chosen the same people as in the previous life, so the rebirth seems not to have reached him. Fang Yuan himself is very different now. ^{ch. 1888}

Where the previous life left him unable to annex Qi Sea grotto-heaven, he has now annexed it, reached rank eight and become Qi Sea Ancestor, with huge political power. His heaven form is refined. Green ghost desert develops rapidly, and guts Gu production is many times his highest record. He dominates the River of Time, so Heavenly Court suffers severe losses and its prestige is greatly affected. Heavenly Court still builds Immortal Gu Houses, unwilling to let him dominate the river alone and find another Red Lotus true inheritance. ^{ch. 1888}

As before, Central Continent and the Southern Alliance suppress his businesses in treasure yellow heaven. He has no solution. His influence on the Southern Alliance is falling, and only his second aperture Immortal Gu has an intense attraction to several Southern Border Gu Immortals. He refuses to sell guts Gu there and spends most of them on his own soul path cultivation, which worsens his business. ^{ch. 1888}

He has fewer immortal materials than before. Lady White Rabbit, Sixth Hair and Fairy Miao Yin, who died last time, are now among his subordinates. Annexing Lang Ya blessed land alone was an immense gain, but his spending has grown too. Running out of certain immortal materials is his only weakness, so he avoids Heavenly Court, which buys time path immortal materials even harder to obstruct him. ^{ch. 1888}

He plans to obtain regret Gu and advance the bulk of his many rank six Immortal Gu to rank seven. This time he also wants the Merit Obelisk, Paradise Earth’s true inheritance and the blue dragon whale itself. Central Continent’s Refinement Path Convention will soon try to repair fate Gu, which does not matter to him. His clone Zhan Bu Du progresses well in Beast Calamity grotto-heaven. Zhan Bu Du will help him annex it. ^{ch. 1888}

Miao Ming Shen tells the group that the risks are unknown, death is possible, and anyone may leave. Nobody backs out. Zeng Luo Zi first sets up the alliance agreement, then all eight travel through undercurrents under Miao Ming Shen’s lead. ^{ch. 1888}

Fang Yuan’s arrangements where the blue dragon whale appeared in the previous life got no news of it, so without Miao Ming Shen he might not find it. Fearing that Ren Xiu Ping will expose the matter, Miao Ming Shen races on and says excitedly that they are close. Fang Yuan’s investigative methods still cannot tell how Miao Ming Shen tracks the whale, but their location differs completely from the previous life. Beasts multiply as the whale nears, and the immortals slaughter a path. Fang Yuan suspects that Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable’s test began in the sea and that dying might carry him into the whale’s immortal aperture, but as in the previous life he will die only after a while. ^{ch. 1888}

Zeng Luo Zi shouts and sends an investigative killer move behind him, and several figures appear. The leading Gu Immortal praises it, then his aura destroys it and sweeps toward Miao Ming Shen’s group. He is Shen Cong Sheng, first supreme elder of Shen clan and a righteous path rank eight Gu Immortal. His coming leaves Fang Yuan slightly dazed, since it differs from the previous life. Shen Cong Sheng has brought many Gu Immortals, Shen clan members and lone cultivators like Ren Xiu Ping. Fang Yuan acts shocked, but his main body is here, and even four righteous path rank eights of Eastern Sea would not frighten him. Miao Ming Shen’s group, only rank seven, is completely outmatched and truly shocked. ^{ch. 1888}
