Chapter 1940

Fang Yuan’s main body, made from sovereign immortal fetus Gu, has no blood relationship with Gu Yue Fang Zheng. Only his rank six time path clone is related to Fang Zheng, and it is hidden in the sovereign immortal aperture. Fang Yuan judges that the move most likely uses the mental connection with the user, not the bloodline. He cannot escape the blood cloud. Destroying it would make blood markings attack his luck. Fang Zheng is an arrangement of heaven’s will, and the move has three aspects: bloodline, mental connection and luck connection. The resonance of their lucks lets the markings corrode Fang Yuan’s luck, and this is a huge problem. ^{ch. 1940}

Fang Yuan switches to destroying Demon Judgment Board and killing Fang Zheng directly. Duke Long and Cang Xuan Zi interfere each time, and the Gu Immortals inside repair any damage fully. Fang Yuan wishes he had heart blood Immortal Gu, which would ease his situation even if he cannot unravel the move. He could not obtain it at the qi sea banquet, a huge pity. Rebirth through Spring Autumn Cicada is merely a second chance, and Red Lotus Demon Venerable, reborn countless times, only damaged fate Gu. ^{ch. 1940}

Fang Yuan is trapped, and in Calamity Luck Altar, Bull Demon and Flower Lady ask whether to help him. They look to Bing Sai Chuan, whose trump card could ask Limitless to turn around, as in the previous life when it temporarily trapped Duke Long. He refuses. He wants Fang Yuan’s fight to continue so that his side can take fate Gu, return to Longevity Heaven and refine rank nine destiny Gu, and then replace Heavenly Court in ruling the five regions. He screams for the Northern Plains Gu Immortals to go and retrieve Fate, and the historical experts in River of Time echo him. Mao Li Qiu is already fighting Shabi Ninety-five and Ruan Dan, while Bull Demon, Flower Lady and many others fly out in a larger force than in the previous life. ^{ch. 1940}

Yuan Qiong Du, trapped inside the refinement path formation, shouts for reinforcements, but nobody comes. Fang Yuan glances at Heaven Overseeing Tower. Fang Yuan is glad that Northern Plains’ Gu Immortals heading there will spring its trap for him, and shouts that he will kill Duke Long first. Bull Demon and Flower Lady reach the top of the tower and see fate Gu. Genesis Lotus’ method activates, and the Northern Plains Gu Immortals are stuck in a bamboo forest painting. ^{ch. 1940}

Bing Sai Chuan is dumbstruck, while Yuan Qiong Du, Cong Yan and Che Wei gain time to recover. Qi Ci Lang wakes and tells Bing Sai Chuan to crash Calamity Luck Altar into the tower. Fate Gu could only be destroyed by otherworldly demons, but the tower is a genuine rank nine Immortal Gu House with great defense, so attacking it would cost precious time. Bing Sai Chuan cannot decide. Many experts of Northern Plains’ history have not shown up, and he senses something amiss. He is the West Desolation Immortal, appointed by Giant Sun Immortal Venerable, at whose request he slumbered three hundred thousand years to lead Longevity Heaven’s ambitions. He asks Qi Ci Lang to take action, calling him Seventh Prince, but Qi Ci Lang refuses, saying a luck path cultivator like him should control Calamity Luck Altar. ^{ch. 1940}

Bing Sai Chuan, who holds the altar’s control, teleports Qi Ci Lang out, and Qi Ci Lang suspects it would attack him first if he refused. He yields in fury and charges into Heaven Overseeing Tower. Yuan Qiong Du and the other two are helpless to stop him. ^{ch. 1940}

A jade light attacks Qi Ci Lang on the tower’s top, and he cannot resist being dragged toward the painting. Bing Sai Chuan shouts for Limitless to turn around. In Imperfection Regret Pavilion, Limitless Demon Venerable does not turn around but tosses one chess piece. It floats above Qi Ci Lang’s head and blocks the jade light, leaving only a faint amount around him. Qi Ci Lang is overjoyed, since once rid of the remaining jade light he can snatch fate Gu. ^{ch. 1940}
