Ice Blade Gu

On Qing Mao Mountain, after Bai Ning Bing breaks out of the ice, a Gu Yue clan elder, Gu Yue Qing Shu, Gu Yue Yao Hong, and other rank two Gu Masters surround him. He releases the limiter on his rank three cultivation. The clan elder jumps in with a moonblade slash. Bai Ning Bing’s left arm sweeps, and frost air forms a long ice blade. The original blade he created was only over a meter; with the limiter off it is two meters, with a deadlier edge and greater frost energy. ^{ch. 140}

The elder’s moonlight-covered hands ring against that blade. He steps back, claps his palms, and sends a golden moon over a meter long. Bai Ning Bing meets it head on. The golden moon vanishes and the ice blade breaks into fragments. The elder names the tool rank two Ice Blade Gu, shocked that it blocked his rank three Moonhand blade and the golden moon. Northern Dark Ice Soul physique strengthens Ice Gu, a variation of water-type Gu. At rank three with the limiter off, Bai Ning Bing can make that rank two worm show rank three power. ^{ch. 140}

He then holds the ice blade horizontally and rotates until a five meter white ice blade storm forms. Two rank two Gu Masters are minced inside it. Gu Yue Yao Hong is cut into frozen pieces while Qing Shu tries to pull her out with Green Vine Gu. The clan elder charges the storm with Steel Shirt Gu. When the storm ends, Bai Ning Bing’s left-hand ice blade is already broken in two, and that broken blade still pierces the elder’s heart. ^{ch. 140}

During the wolf tide, Bai Ning Bing splits his palms after icy mist and holds an ice blade about 1.7 meters long. ^{ch. 132}

Effect

In the duel with Gu Yue Qing Shu, ice blades that grow blunt sharpen again under Ice Blade Gu’s power. Bai Ning Bing creates more ice blades and rotates faster to keep the storm up against Qing Shu’s grip. ^{ch. 141} When vines pin him, he pours remaining primeval essence into Ice Blade Gu and forms a new ice blade, then cuts free and defends with it. ^{ch. 142}

Against Fang Yuan, Chainsaw Golden Centipede cuts the iceblade apart. Bai Ning Bing lets go and retreats nearly two meters, then injects primeval essence into iceblade Gu and remakes blades until numerous ones break and he stops matching Fang Yuan head on. ^{ch. 166} After they charge out of the thick smoke together, both turn on each other at once. Bai Ning Bing activates Iceblade Gu while Fang Yuan activates Chainsaw Golden Centipede. The iceblade cuts a wound on the centipede, then breaks. ^{ch. 169}

Valley chase storm

Bai Ning Bing forms an iceblade, then activates Swirl Gu and Fierce Wind Gu, and the white iceblade storm appears again. The storm is formed by Iceblade Gu, Swirl Gu, and Fierce Wind Gu. Used together, the three create a move that can attack and defend; without two or more defense Gu working together, a target cannot resist it. It starts as a small gust, then expands into roaring icy winds and a blizzard. Hard ice covers the floor and keeps Chainsaw Golden Centipede from emerging. The move is hard to display or stop cleanly. ^{ch. 167}
