Xiong Jiao Man

She first appears at the three-clan alliance on Alliance Slope, named by crowd talk as the Xiong clan girl riding a giant bear, and warned as battle-crazy in a fight despite her looks. The Gu Masters standing below the stage at that meeting are all rank two, and she is introduced among that contingent. ^{ch. 124} Qing Mao Mountain sits in the South Border. ^{ch. 4} After the Xiong Li group’s spars, challengers call her out by name among the open Gu battles on the slope. ^{ch. 126}

Appearance

She is a girl riding a giant bear. ^{ch. 124} Her body figure is hot and she has a nice pretty face. ^{ch. 146}

Wolf tide envoy

Half a month later she leads a Xiong group toward Gu Yue village. She is the group leader when Xiong Yuan Zhen dies of wolf wounds, and she retreats into a valley under cover of her two giant bears, one brown and one black. The black bear dies under the pack; a Gu worm flies from its corpse back to her hand, and the text names it Bear Enslavement Gu, rank two, able to control ordinary bears but not a bear king. ^{ch. 146}

Fang Yuan finds them trapped and offers a vine escape for one Bear Enslavement Gu plus seven hundred primeval stones. She agrees for the seven survivors, withdraws her consciousness from the Gu, and cooperates in refining it so she cannot take it back. She then asks Chi Shan for Gu Yue reinforcements, saying Xiong clan has been surrounded by wolf packs for six days and six nights, and follows his group into Gu Yue village. ^{ch. 147}

She left Xiong clan with ten Gu Masters and reached Gu Yue with seven. After treatment she thanks Gu Yue Yao Le for medicine-hall redress against Fang Yuan, points to the Gu Masters waiting outside, and says she has already asked for reinforcements and must hurry back. ^{ch. 148} Fifteen minutes after parting, her group is forced back into the bamboo building by a wolf tide; she warns that a lightning wolf pack is about to assault the village. ^{ch. 149}

During a Gu Yue village assault she takes charge when a frenzy lightning wolf breaks the eastern gate near Yao Le, sends her remaining brown bear at the wolf, and tries to drag Yao Le clear. Soundwave force throws her into a bamboo building, and the scene leaves her without visible movement there. ^{ch. 150}
