Blood barrier

Appearance

A soft cry sounds and blood light blooms, expanding into a spherical shield within moments. The blood-red shield’s range is six mu. First gen Gu Yue is inside while Lord Sky Crane is outside; Bai Ning Bing and Fang Yuan are inside, and others such as Xiong Jiao Man are outside. The blood color sphere shield isolates the two areas, and the blood shield stays unshakeable under attack. ^{ch. 194 ch. 196} Four hours later the blood barrier thins and is about to vanish; when it vanishes, no obstacle remains between those who were inside and outside. ^{ch. 198}

Inside and outside

Lord Sky Crane stands outside the blood barrier on Qing Mao Mountain while First gen Gu Yue, Fang Yuan, Bai Ning Bing, and others remain inside the space raised by Blood Curtain Skyflower Gu. ^{ch. 197}

First gen Gu Yue refined that Gu. Once used, the barrier cannot be moved or turned off, and only he can leave; after he exits he cannot re-enter, and a crash against the barrier blocks him. It protects those inside for a limited time. When that time ends, everyone inside faces the rank five fight outside. ^{ch. 197}

Fang Yuan throws First gen Gu Yue out through the barrier, then takes Blood Skull Gu and Yin Yang Rotation Gu while the ancestor is locked outside and attacks the barrier in vain. With First gen Gu Yue gone, few rank three Gu Masters remain inside, and Fang Yuan treats the space as a field he can dominate. ^{ch. 197}
