Chapter 194

First gen Gu Yue is pinned and cannot budge as another Gu captured by the yellow talisman falls to the ground as a Taiji light sphere, and Sky Crane Lord names it Yin Yang Rotation Gu. Two peculiar Gu worms circle inside it, and Fang Yuan sees that it is rank four. Sky Crane Lord laughs, thanking his senior brother for the good Gu and gloating that the plan to turn back into a human is destroyed. Blood Skull Gu and Yin Yang Rotation Gu were both crucial to a plan that stretched through a millennium, and now both are sealed and extracted. First gen Gu Yue snarls, his plotting almost gone up in smoke. ^{ch. 194}

The next captured Gu is a scarlet one like a translucent water sphere, and First gen Gu Yue exults and orders it destroyed. Problem Nipped in the Bud Gu has sealed it against his thoughts, but it is an expendable Gu that activates only when destroyed. Several Gu Masters attack the imprint and it collapses, destroying the Gu. A blood light blooms into a spherical shield covering six mu, with First gen Gu Yue, Bai Ning Bing and Fang Yuan inside and Sky Crane Lord, Xiong Jiao Man and others outside. The shield cuts the white eyebrows in half, and Fang Yuan and the others regain control of their bodies. Fang Yuan wonders why the shield’s rank five aura resembles Water Curtain Skyflower Gu. ^{ch. 194}

Sky Crane Lord attacks the shield with cranes, feather arrows and white beams, yet it stays unshakeable. First gen Gu Yue explains that this is Blood Curtain Skyflower Gu, his personally fused rank five Gu, stronger in defense than rank four Water Curtain Skyflower Gu. That rank four Gu can already block rank five attacks. Unlike that Gu, it lets its owner go out. Sky Crane Lord’s attacks turn mad and extremely fierce, and every Gu Master outside the shield dies, Xiong Jiao Man among them. ^{ch. 194}

Sky Crane Lord stops, seeing his senior brother’s words as bait to waste essence. He judges that the shield is expendable, extremely costly to fuse and set to dissipate after a certain time, so he sits down to recover with primeval stones. First gen Gu Yue has the Gu Masters pile primeval stones around him and chews them, and natural primeval essence pours into his aperture. Sky Crane Lord warns that once First gen Gu Yue can move, he will kill them all and use their blood to raise his aptitude. The Gu Masters take the warning for a ploy to sow distrust and give even more. ^{ch. 194}

The Demon Suppression Iron Chain Gu holding First gen Gu Yue weakens and, after quite a while, turns into a pool of blood and thoroughly dies. With the bindings gone, First gen Gu Yue’s arms grow back and he stands. The Problem Nipped in the Bud Gu on his forehead also turns into a pool of blood and completely dissipates. The elated Gu Masters ask him to behead Sky Crane Lord, but he says he has something to do first, and Fang Yuan edges toward the outer rim of the group. ^{ch. 194}

First gen Gu Yue says that what he needs to do is take their lives, and he pierces a rank three Gu Yue clan Gu Master, pulling out a pulsing heart. Blood Skull Gu drinks the corpse’s blood through its empty eye sockets. Its crystal skull’s blood stripes brighten. A peak rank five who has completely recovered his primeval essence, he massacres the Gu Masters, who are only rank one to three and cannot escape the shield. He kills every Gu Yue clansman except the Bai clan and Xiong clan Gu Masters, and after several hundred deaths the rank four Blood Skull Gu glistens red at its absorb limit. ^{ch. 194}

He summons it above his head and declares that his centuries of arduous planning have finally come to fruition. It opens its tightly shut mouth and throws up a blood fountain with a sweet relaxing fragrance. The fountain completely soaks First gen Gu Yue, and every drop seeps into his body down to the aperture. He bursts into crazed laughter that his aptitude has really advanced. Outside the shield, Sky Crane Lord furiously shouts for his Blood Skull Gu back. ^{ch. 194}
