The Water Curtain Skyflower Gu is a rank four Gu that turns into a giant spherical water shield. The shield has strong defense, even against rank five attacks, but cannot be moved or stopped, and seals inside from outside so even its owner cannot freely enter or exit.

Facing Lord Sky Crane, First gen Gu Yue names Blood Curtain Skyflower Gu as his personally fused rank five Gu and compares it to Water Curtain Skyflower Gu. He says the rank four base can already block rank five attacks, while his fused Gu has stronger defense and, unlike the water form, lets him leave. Fang Yuan reads the blood shield’s aura as rank five and notes that it resembles Water Curtain Skyflower Gu. ch. 194
