Divine Travel

Verdant Great Sun fears drinking because getting drunk may leave him transported to a dangerous land by divine travel Gu. Earlier drunk uses sent him into the ordinary abyss and into the cauldron of the hairy men. The Gu offers a method to become Fixed Immortal Travel so it will no longer send him to random places when he is drunk. ^{ch. 371}

Ba Gui introduces a rank six Immortal Gu as Divine Travel. It looks like a round yellow gem, hollow inside, with a ball of purple smoke that shifts forms such as a pegasus, crane, cloud, or thunderbolt. A strong wine fragrance spreads when it appears; Fang Yuan takes a few breaths, feels drunk, and grows dizzy until he holds his breath. ^{ch. 378}

In Ba Gui’s hall, divine travel Gu can send a Gu Master to any place in the world, but activation needs a drunken state and the destination cannot be controlled. It may be one of the four great movement Gu, yet the flaw is so severe that Verdant Great Sun refined it into Fixed Immortal Travel, while the blessed land’s original master planned to refine it into Second Aperture Gu. ^{ch. 378}
