Fixed Star Gu

At San Cha mountain, Tie Ruo Nan tells Bai Ning Bing not to worry if Fang Yuan flees, because Fixed Star Gu lets Tie clan’s four old-timers arrest him even at the end of the world. ^{ch. 397}

Bai Ning Bing later states that she secretly planted Fixed Star Gu in Fang Yuan’s left arm so that Infinite Search and Lock can bring him back from anywhere. The four old-timers gave her the Gu personally, and she spent a long time training to use it. She planted it when Fang Yuan injected yellow gold primeval essence to nurture her aperture. The planted Gu looks like an eight-sided, crystal-clear star fragment of the immemorial era and gives off starlight that can make the forearm shine with a transparent eerie blue light. Without Fixed Star Gu, Infinite Search and Lock has no target. ^{ch. 398}

After a Spring Autumn Cicada redo, Fang Yuan already knows the Gu sits on that forearm and that the same capture move can reach him wherever he runs. ^{ch. 399} He judges removal methods exist but need long preparation, while an immediate cut of the left forearm would discard the Gu with the limb and alert Bai Ning Bing and Tie clan. When the four old-timers activate Infinite Search and Lock, Fang Yuan’s left arm shines again and the eight-sided diamond form of Fixed Star Gu is visible. Divine Travel flies into the arm, swallows Fixed Star Gu, and the four old-timers lose their connection as the chains lose their target.
