Infinite Search and Lock is Tie clan's four old-timers' combination killer move. With a planted lock Gu, they can find a Gu Master anywhere; it is the number one capturing method.
Fang Yuan recalls the four old-timers’ combination killer move as limitless search and lock. Even Bone Wings Gu would not keep him safe once planted. In his previous life the same move made Kong Ri Tian a victim and brought a demonic expert’s downfall. ch. 362 Earlier he treats rank five Search and Lock Gu as what those four can combine to suppress him and Bai Ning Bing. ch. 353
Void chain capture
Four chains extend from the void, bind Fang Yuan’s limbs, coil him tight, and drag him into the void. He reappears in the bronze hall, where Tie clan’s four old-timers stand at north, south, east, and west with black steel chains from their right palms. They activate Infinite Search and Lock. Bai Ning Bing planted Fixed Star Gu in Fang Yuan’s left arm; with that locator the chains can catch him even at the edge of the world, and without it the move has no target. Once locked, his Gu worms are sealed and he cannot use primeval essence; even rank five Warp Gu stays sealed. The move is both space path and seal path. Tie Ruo Nan notes that willing Gu worms to self-detonate remains possible under the lock. ch. 398
Rank limit
Infinite search and lock can seal rank five Gu, but it cannot restrict rank six Immortal Gu. ch. 399
Lost locator
The four old-timers activate the move again while Fang Yuan flies in Torrential Light Stream. Fixed Star Gu shines on his arm and four chains tear space around him, then lose their target when Divine Travel swallows Fixed Star Gu; the chains fly about and the light river destroys them. ch. 404
